3 Places to Eat in Liverpool | England

Liverpool is a great city to visit for a weekend away if you have never been before. The Scousers are very down to earth and welcoming. It’s also a great spot for partying, football, concerts and home of the Beatles. Here are three places to eat if you decide to make a trip to Liverpool, England.

1. The Vibe Café Liverpool – Unit 1a, Chancery House, Paradise St, Liverpool L1 3HE.

This plant based café made an impression on me straight away by how kindhearted and chatty the staff are. It has a wide range of plant based dishes and breakfast until 4pm. You’ll be asked if you have any allergies when you order. The clientele was very mixed, parents with kids, elderly locals, yoga huns and people eating by themselves. Table service is provided. I got the breakfast bagel, a flat white with oat milk and an orange juice. Check out their official website here.

2. Greek Taverna – 76 Bold St, Liverpool L1 4HR, United Kingdom.

This Greek restaurant was hopping, particularly with locals when I visited and it has a very wide selection of Greek food. I opted for the very tasty grilled chicken and dessert. It was reasonably priced and filling. You may need to wait to get a table during peak times unless you reserve a table a head of time. Click here to check out their official website.

3. Panam – Albert Dock, Liverpool L3 4AD, United Kingdom.

Located down by Albert Dock, Panam is another restaurant right at the centre of everything and it’s ideal if you’re going to an event at the M&S Arena or going to the Beatles Story nearby. I got a Panam burger with fries and a pint of Pepsi Max (this appears to be a very popular option as opposed to Coke Zero in Liverpool). There are very nice booths if there are a group of you and plenty of open space. There is more information on their official website here.
